ISO 26262 is a globally recognized automotive functional safety standard, covering the entire life cycle of automotive products. Its process system certification and product certification are highly recognized in the automotive industry and are also widely recognized by the industry as necessary conditions for chips to be used in safety-related components on mass-produced vehicles. In just eight months since the launch ceremony of "Functional Safety Process and Product Certification for Automotive Grade MCU Chips" project with Rheinland in September 2022, Fortior has successfully passed the ISO 26262 functional safety management system certification, marking that Fortior has established a complete product development process system that meets the ASIL-D’s highest integrity requirements, and is capable of providing automotive-grade MCUs that meet the functional safety standards for domestic and international customers.
