Overview

FTM32ForgeIDE delivers a development environment for engineers building projects with 32-bit devices based on open-source RISC-V32 architecture. This platform adopts an open-source model, significantly reducing development costs while providing expansive innovation opportunities for developers.

FTM32ForgeIDE delivers a comprehensive, one-stop ecosystem featuring advanced editing, compilation, and debugging capabilities. Its enhanced project manager ready-to-use templates and build wizards, while the intelligent code editor delivers powerful AI-assisted development. Built on the RISC-V GCC toolchain for superior compilation, it includes automated documentation generation (HTML/PDF) and a robust GDB Server-based debugger supporting multi-core debugging, real-time variable tracking, and flash programming - all within a fully customizable UI with personalized themes, layouts, and shortcuts.

The debugging of FTM32ForgeIDE interfaces with relevant hardware and supports the ecosystem’s emulators and programmers. It is compatible with all development boards and scenarios based on RISC-V architecture. Engineers can download and apply it for free with the help of official website (www.fortiortech.com).

Features
One-stop Integrated Ecosystem Toolchain

Powerful and easy to use, with a one-stop ecological chain tools, simplify the development process.

Developed based on open-source RISC-V32, this technology providing expansive innovation opportunities for developers and is not derived from extension of any generic platform.

The smart code editing function provides code outlining and section folding for structural navigation, font scaling for customizable viewing, auto-detection and conversion of character encodings and intelligent code completion with smart autocomplete, code snippet suggestions, and real-time function parameter hints.

Powerful and Easy to Use

The compilation toolchain is built on the RISC-V GCC toolchain, supporting C/C++ programming languages and targeting the RISC-V32 architecture. It provides a cross-compiler to generate optimized code for the target platform.

The Solution Manager provides multiple project templates and build wizards to accelerate project setup. It features: Symbol lookup and Call Hierarchy analysis, function call tree generation, one-click navigation to definitions, and project structure analysis for rapid file/code navigation. The integrated documentation generator facilitates rapid comment authoring and automatically produces help file in both HTML and CHM formats.

The integrated documentation generator facilitates rapid comment authoring and automatically produces help file in both HTML and CHM formats.

The debugging toolchain, centered on GDBServer, supports multiple download mathods, comprehensive debugging operations on target platforms including breakpoint configuration, real-time variable monitoring, and step execution, and streamlined remote debugging for distributed development.

The IDE supports 4 UI theme styles, three font/icon size presets (Large/Medium/Small), full customization of frequently0used command toolbars, keyboard shortcuts, and output window properties (text color, background, font size), and built-in tcl scripting support.

Operating Systems

Windows system, such as win7,win10, and win11.
